HOW MANY STUDENTS DO THE BUSES HOLD?

Maximum school bus capacity depends on how many students are placed in a seating row. We have vehicles of various capacities to accommodate for most group sizes. Our largest buses can seat 84 elementary school students (3 in each seat) or 56 middle/high school students (2 in each seat). We also have one mini coach bus, which seats exactly 30 passengers. Browse our Fleet >

WHAT KIND OF CERTIFICATION DO YOUR BUS DRIVERS HAVE?

All NCST drivers are CHP (California Highway Patrol) certified. Additionally, drivers are randomly drug tested and undergo in-service training up to 6 times a year to receive continual instruction in accident scene control, student-driver conduct, and other essential transportation-related topics.

IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?

Our buses are cleaned daily and checked for forgotten items. If anything is found, the item(s) will be held at our office for 7 days.

WHEN SHOULD I SUBMIT MY REQUEST FOR A FIELD TRIP?

As soon as possible! The earlier you reach out, the more efficiently we can address your needs and get your buses reserved. So we encourage you to submit your trip request as soon as you've got the essential trip details ready. Plus, booking early offers you more flexibility if your preferred date is already booked up. 

DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORTATION FOR NON-SCHOOL EVENTS?

Yes. Along with school field trips we frequently book non-academic events and will make every effort to accommodate any particular trip on a case-by-case basis. Examples of non-academic transportation services you can book with us are:

  • Event shuttles

  • Wedding transportation

  • Festival transportation

  • Fundraisers

  • Birthday party transportation

  • Other private events

  • And more!

Please note that NCST does not offer home-to-school route transportation services.

IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE?

We courteously ask that you notify us as soon as possible if you need to cancel your trip. Additionally, there is a minimum seven (7) day notice of cancellation to avoid paying a cancellation fee on your booked trip due to incurred cost.

I HAD A CHANGE IN MY TRIP, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A MODIFICATION TO MY BOOKING?

Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any changes in your trip, and we will address it to determine if your change can be approved. Please note that requests made within ten (10) days of your scheduled trip may not be accommodated.
