HOW MANY STUDENTS DO THE BUSES HOLD?
School bus capacity depends on how many students are placed in a seating row. Our buses can either seat 84 students with 3 in each seat, or 56 with 2 in each seat. We also have 2 mini coaches, which hold 24 and 26 passengers, respectively.
WHAT KIND OF CERTIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS DO YOUR DRIVERS RETAIN?
All NCST drivers are CHP (California Highway Patrol) certified. Additionally, they are randomly drug tested and undergo in-service training 6 times a year which consistently instructs them in accident scene control, student-driver conduct, and other essential transportation-related components.
IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?
Yes. Our buses are cleaned every night and checked for forgotten items. If anything is found, the item(s) are held at our office. The owner would then contact us to reclaim their belongings.
WHEN SHOULD I SUBMIT MY REQUEST FOR A FIELD TRIP?
As soon as you begin planning one! The sooner your request is submitted to our office, the faster your trip is in our books and your buses are reserved.
DO YOU OFFER TRANSPORTATION FOR EVENTS? (WEDDINGS, FUNDRAISERS, FESTIVALS, ETC.)
Yes. We can certainly accommodate to any particular time schedule on a case-by-case basis. For more information, or if you have questions ascertaining to your specific event, please contact us and we'd be happy to help.
IS THERE A CANCELLATION FEE FOR CANCELED TRIPS?
We courteously ask that you notify us as soon as possible of any cancellation for your trip. Additionally, there is a minimum seven (7) day notice of cancellation to avoid paying fees due to incurred cost.
I HAD A CHANGE IN MY TRIP, CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE A MODIFICATION TO MY REQUEST?
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have a modification in your trip, and we will address it and determine if your change can be approved. Keep in mind that alterations made within seven (7) days of your scheduled trip may not be accommodated.
